TWiRT 46 - CQ DX
Tom Ray - VP, Engineering, Buckley Broadcasting, WOR, New York, W2TRR
Chris Tarr - Entercom, Milwaukee, GeekJedi, and Broadcast Engineering Info
All Tom Ray wanted was an HD Radio in his Ford Escape. Turned out there were speed bumps and potholes at every turn. Is Tom ahead of his time, or should consumers have an easier time with this?

So, just how do you drop a radio tower in New Jersey? Seems like it wouldn't take more than a phone call to the right guy. We discuss the SBE's Ennes Workshops, fractal antennas, and just what should 5 bars indicate?

TWiRT 43 - Dropping Towers and Bars
Speaking of towers coming down - These at WWVA (AM) were toppled by high wind a few hours before TWiRT recorded on Wednesday evening.
Dear friends,
We're taking 1 week off - this week - Wednesday, July 28. Next week I hope to be able to report a new addition to the family - my family. My wife is in the hospital and our baby boy wants out now - or soon.
We'll have a terrific show next Wednesday.
Best regards,
Kirk Harnack
Thanks for the concerns of all who have asked.
My wife, Lora, is fine after small surgery. Baby decided to stay inside a while longer.
We're live with a new TWiRT next Wednesday evening!
Kirk
